CURAÇAO

A rental car will allow you the opportunity to visit the many attractions and/or beaches of Curaçao.  The island claims to have 38 beaches in all, yet you'll certainly find more along the secluded and rough coastlines of the eastern and northern coasts.

Rental Cars

The island has multiple options available for rental cars.  There are both international and local companies available.

We recommend a rental car for your stay. A reservation made in advance is also recommended.

Curaçao is on Atlantic Standard Time: one hour later than US Eastern Standard Time (the same time as Eastern Daylight Savings Time) and four hours earlier than Greenwich Mean Time.

Curaçao's tap water isn't just safe to drink, it's delicious! The water is of exceptional quality: it's soft, contains no chlorides and is low in calcium. It's odorless and tasteless and has a good bacteriological composition: perfect to drink!

Power/Electricity- The regular power on Curaçao is 127 Volts, 50 cycles, which is slightly different from the 60 cycles used in the United States. For most US appliances this isn't an issue.
